The messenger of Allah SAW said 'When a person curses somebody or something, the curse goes up to heaven and the gates of heaven get closed, then it comes down to earth and the earth and its gates get closed. Then it turns right and left and if it does not find an entrance to go anywhere; it returns to the person or thing that was cursed; if he or it deserves to be cursed; otherwise, it returns to the person who uttered it.' (Abu Dawud)

Masha Allah, our STAR of the month is none other than ILIASU ABIODUN KAZEEM.
Iliasu was born on the 31st of December in Oyo state where he hails from and had both his primary and secondary school education. He proceeded to the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) where he studied law and blazed many trials that can only be celebrated. Alhamdulilah.

Yes, I know, it was yesterday. But better to greet late than never, Alhamdulilahi Rabil Aalameen. The glorious month has come and gone, just like yesterday when we all gathered to congratulate ourselves on meeting the month, and now we have said good bye to it. Taqaballahu minha wa minkum. May Allah accept our fast and our ibadah and forgive our sins.

HADITH OF THE MOMENT

"Once a person asked the prophet who deserves the best care from me? The prophet (saw) said your mother (3 times), then your father and then your closest relatives." [Bukhari]

He Prophet (saw) also said "Fear Allah (swt) in respect of women; and, the best of you are they who behave best to their wives; and, a Muslim must not hate his wife, and if he is displeased with one bad quality in her, let him be pleased with one that is good; the more civil and kind a Muslim is to his wife, the more perfect in faith he is."

Allaahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibb al-‘afwafa’affu ‘anni (O Allaah, You are forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.
